Hi all, I am Kelsie Sorensen and the proud owner of The Buzz Bar. I am a 23 year old college student and bartender born and raised in Dixon, CA. I have been in the service industry for 5 years and have learned to love every moment of it (The good & bad ones).
BEYOND WORK LIFE
On my days off you will more than likely find me with my dog Sadie. Some of my favorite activities are going to the beach, going to professional sporting events, traveling to new places and new restaurants.
WHY A MOBILE BAR?
In high school I decided I was going to continue my education and work towards applying for a Dental Hygiene Program. After years of prerequisite courses and receiving an Associates of Science in Biology, it was finally time to apply to programs. Coincidentally, this was the year COVID-19 restrictions were lifted and class sizes were unfortunately cut in half. After applying to several programs and getting waitlisted by all of them, I knew I could not sit around doing nothing until I got accepted into a program. While working in a bar and restaurant I realized how passionate I am for bartending and creating unique experiences for all of my patrons. It challenges me in the best ways possible and allows me to meet new people and make new connections every day. I could not think of a better way to challenge myself mentally and physically than through the creation of a woman owned small business.
